Folder Implementation

Generally speaking, the Approved Peel Watershed Regional Land Use Plan is being implemented by the five Parties to that plan: Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in, the First Nation of Na-Cho Nyäk Dun, Vuntut Gwitchin First Nation, the Gwich’in Tribal Council, and the Yukon Government. They have established a committee to oversee the implementation: the Peel Plan Implementation Committee (PPIC - terms of reference below). The YLUPC participates in some pieces of the plan implementation (for example consistency opinions) and monitors and supports implementation generally. Documents relating to plan implementation are posted below. Please note: many of these documents were not writen by the YLUPC or their staff.
