The Dawson Regional Planning Commission released the Final Recommended Plan to the Government of Yukon, Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in Government and the public on March 31, 2026.
It is now up to the Government of Yukon and the Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in Government to either reject, accept, or modify the Commission’s Plan. They are running open houses in Dawson, Mayo, Old Crow, and Whitehorse, as well as virtually, and are conducting an online survey, meeting with plan partners, and will have opportunities for written submissions.
Yukoners can complete the survey and submit written comments at Yukon.ca/dawson-regional-land-use-planning. Feedback can be shared from October 26 through until December 18, 2026.
