This past October, the Council welcomed aboard Micheal Jim, from the traditional lands of the Champagne and Aishihik First Nations, as our new Land Relationship (Indigenous) Planner. Micheal is an integral part of the planning team here at the Council. He brings an Indigenous lens to regional land use planning and will assist the Council and its Traditional Knowledge Circle in exploring ways to weave Traditional Knowledge into their work.
