The Na-Cho Nyäk Dun Region is preparing to plan!

The area includes the central Traditional Territory of the First Nation of Na-Cho Nyäk Dun

The Council has formally recommended a General Terms of Reference for a Na-Cho Nyäk Dun Regional Planning Commission. This recommendation was sent to First Nation of Na-Cho Nyäk Dun and to the Government of Yukon on October 17, 2023 for their consideration.

We are currently working on a guidebook for the future commission members as well as gathering useful information on the region.

The next major milestone will be when the First Nation of Na-Cho Nyäk Dun and to the Government of Yukon sign a Terms of Reference for the new commission.
